Arsenal will look to extend their winning streak to seven matches across all competitions when they host Crystal Palace at the Emirates Stadium this Sunday.
The visitors arrive in north London on the back of a mixed run of form. Despite carrying momentum from last season’s impressive unbeaten spell, Oliver Glasner’s Eagles have now gone three games without a victory, most recently falling to AEK Larnaca at Selhurst Park on Thursday night.
For Arsenal, confidence remains sky-high following their midweek triumph over Atlético Madrid in Europe. Mikel Arteta’s men continue to set the pace at the top of the Premier League table as they push toward what could be their first league crown in over two decades.
Defensively, the Gunners have been near flawless. Having conceded just three goals in eight league outings, they’re on course to challenge Chelsea’s long-standing defensive benchmark of just 15 goals allowed during the 2004–05 campaign under José Mourinho.
However, Arteta may have some selection concerns at the back ahead of Palace’s visit, with one or two key players carrying fitness doubts. Even so, Arsenal are expected to line up strongly as they aim to maintain their dominant start and keep their title charge firmly on track.
